www.cochilco.cl is a government portal administered by the Chilean Copper Commission (Cochilco), as represented by its Executive Vice President.

Information submitted through User and Client Service System and Publication Registration forms is stored solely for the purpose of responding to requests. User information is provided to this site on a strictly voluntary basis and will not be sold, traded, or otherwise used for commercial purposes.

Personal user information provided will be used only for the purposes stated in the appropriate forms and within the competence and prerogatives of Cochilco.

Cochilco will not be held responsible for information provided by users participating in our public forums.

Use of personal information furnished by users forwarding queries or requests is governed by the Privacy Act (Law 19628). Such information may be shared with other government agencies only as provided under the Act, and solely for the purpose of responding to queries or providing information requested through the forms above.

Cochilco may use automated means to track and process site usage and traffic data. This data will only be used to generate site reports. Under no circumstances will Cochilco match data to a specific user.

The Chilean Copper Commission may at any time amend this Privacy Policy as required by law or best practices, and will advise users of any such amendments. Users are responsible for reviewing the Privacy Policy in effect at the time of use of this portal.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, a site user will be anyone registering as such using the appropriate forms, while a site visitor will be any unregistered individual perusing the public information made available herein.
